The Geneva Call works to disseminate the norms and principles of international humanitarian law among the warring parties and pays special attention to the protection of children and education from the negative effects of armed conflict, the prohibition of sexual violence and gender discrimination, the protection of medicine and the prohibition of antipersonnel mines.The organization was founded in 2000 in Geneva (Switzerland). Today, the Geneva Call has offices in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe.
